The Hong Kong Association for Customer Service Excellence (HKACE) successfully convened the “Customer Service Excellence Award 2026 Briefing and Sharing Seminar” on June 30 2026. This pivotal event served as the official launchpad for the 2026 awards programme, uniting industry leaders and professionals committed to elevating service standards across the territory.
Strategic Insights for Competitive Edge
In his welcome address, Mr Derek Choi, Chairman of HKACE, set an inspiring tone for the event. He encouraged member companies to make this year’s programme a strategic focus, emphasising that even amidst demanding operational schedules, the pursuit of service excellence remains a vital catalyst for organizational growth and industry-wide elevation.
To provide participants with a practical roadmap for success, the event featured a series of sharing sessions led by distinguished 2025 Award judges and representatives from various award-winning teams. The judging panel members at the event included HKACE Honorary Advisors Mrs Selina Chow, GBS, JP, Dr Buston Chu, and Ms Wendy Wong; Mrs Gianna Hsu, Honorary Adviser of the Travel Industry Council of Hong Kong, and Mr Caspar Tsui, Executive Director of The Federation of Hong Kong Hotel Owners. These industry leaders and experts, alongside our 2025 winners, shared invaluable experiences and tactical advice, providing member companies with the essential insights needed to prepare highly competitive entries.
Navigating the 2026 Programme
A key highlight of the seminar was the comprehensive briefing by Ms May Kwan, Award Committee Director, and Ms Catherine Choi, Executive Director of HKACE. They unveiled the newly introduced award categories and provided a walkthrough of the latest entry guidelines, ensuring participants have full clarity on the criteria for this year’s cycle.
We conveyed our sincere gratitude to HKT for their generous sponsorship of the venue, which was essential to the success of this event. We also thanked our speakers for their time and contributions in guiding participants to prepare for this year’s submission, and commended our members for their enthusiastic participation.
As member companies commence their preparations for the 2026 awards, we encouraged all to leverage these insights to showcase their outstanding achievements. We look forward to receiving more entries and celebrating the pinnacle of customer service excellence later this year.
